SAFET Conference 2026

A sincere thank you to everyone who joined us in Cebu for SAFET Conference ’26. The three days brought together the global seafood and fisheries community to share experiences, explore the realities of technology in practice, build new connections and discuss where greater collaboration is needed.

Our particular thanks go to our co-hosts, the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) and the British Embassy Manila, whose support and collaboration were central to this year’s conference.

The work continues

For SAFET, the conference does not end when the event closes. We are now reviewing the discussions, feedback and questionnaires from across the three days to identify key insights, common challenges, opportunities and potential areas for further action.

Over the coming weeks and months, we will be sharing conference insights, presentation recordings, photographs, available presentations and other post-conference resources. These will also contribute to our full SAFET Conference ’26 report and insights, which will be released later this year.
