Blake Harris is Managing Director of the Global Food Traceability Center at the Institute of Food Technologists, where he leads work on interoperable traceability standards, implementation tools, and cross-sector collaboration to support safer, more efficient, and more resilient food supply chains. His work focuses on turning regulatory, market, and technical requirements into practical resources for industry, governments, and technology providers. At GFTC, Blake works closely with partners across seafood and other sectors to advance traceability approaches that are practical for companies, useful for regulators, and scalable across commodities.
