Congratulations to this year’s winner of the new Bubba Cook Award for Emerging Technology: Riki Macmillan! 🏆

Riki (on the left, holding the prize ⛵) is a Graduate Research Student with the University of Hawaii at Manoa – School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology who uses computer vision, 3D reconstruction, and vision-based measurement systems for marine life measurement.

He was honored in a ceremony with Christopher Cusack, Director of Oceans Technology Solutions at Environmental Defense Fund and SAFET Advisory Board member.
