Can I attend virtually?
No, on this occasion we will record all plenary sessions and presentations, sharing post event through SAFET’s FISH-TECH-CONNECT global community platform – FISH-TECH-CONNECT

What is the cancellation or refund policy?
For refund or ticket exchange, please contact conference@safet.fish. Please note we are unable to provide ticket refunds after 31st July 2026.

Can I transfer my ticket to someone else?
Yes, ticket transfers are allowed up to 31st July 2026. Please contact conference@safet.fish.

Will there be networking opportunities?
Yes, the program includes many opportunities to network.  SAFET has purposefully created an inclusive event that encourages networking and sharing of ideas.

Where can I find the agenda?
The latest agenda is available on https://www.safet.fish/agenda/ and will be updated regularly.

Who are the speakers?
A list of confirmed speakers will be available on the conference agenda website page in May 2026.

Will session recordings be available?
Yes, session recordings will be shared with attendees after the event through SAFET’s global community platform FISH-TECH-CONNECT

Can I ask questions during sessions?
Yes, there will be opportunities for Q and A during or after sessions, with dedicated networking and discussion time set aside.

Are presentation slides available?
Slides may be shared with attendees after the conference, subject to speaker approval.

How do I get to the venue?
Details on transport options and directions are available through the venue website – Map & Directions | Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu.

Are there recommended hotels?
Yes, we are holding the SAFET Conference ’26 event at Luxury 5-Star Beach Resort Cebu | Shangri-La Mactan Philippines.  The venue has provided discounted room rates until 1st June.

Is accommodation included in registration?
No, accommodation must be booked separately.

Will there be transport available from the airport?
There are various options available. Please check venue details for transfer information – Map & Directions | Shangri-La Mactan, Cebu

Do I need a visa for entry to the Philippines?
Please review the Philippines government visa page for requirements associated with your home country.  https://evisa.gov.ph/page/policy

What time should I arrive?
Registration opens at 2.00pm on Monday 7th September. SAFET will host an evening welcome event on Monday 7th evening that all attendees are invited to attend.  Conference check-in is also available Tuesday 8th from 8.00am to 8.45am for those unable to check-in on Monday 7th.  We recommend arriving early to allow time for check-in.  Late arrivals can check-in at the SAFET help desk in the Mactan Ballroom foyer.

What should I bring?
Please bring your registration ticket confirmation and a form of identification, along with your best ideas!

Will food and drinks be provided?
Some meals are provided, please refer to the ticket and registration details.  Refreshment stations will be set up in the Mactan Ballroom foyer and the Marquee during breaks.

Are there dietary options available?
Yes, please indicate any dietary requirements during registration.

Is the venue accessible?
Please contact conference@safet.fish at the time of booking for specific requirements.

Who can I contact during the event?
Event staff and volunteers will be available on-site, along with the venue staff.  For additional support, contact conference@safet.fish.

Will there be exhibitors or sponsors?
Yes, there will be an exhibition area and opportunities for sponsors.

Can I become a sponsor or exhibitor?
Yes, please refer to – https://www.safet.fish/sponsorships/ and https://www.safet.fish/exhibiting/ for details.

Do the included registrations from sponsoring and exhibiting stack?
No, if sponsoring and claiming the included exhibition space, the included registrations from your sponsorship level already include those noted for the exhibition level.

Is there a code of conduct?
Yes, all attendees are expected to follow the conference code of conduct available on the website – https://www.safet.fish/principles/
