Dr Ingrid Kelling, Programme Director, COAST Facility
Ingrid Kelling is a distinguished expert in sustainable development and ethical supply chains, currently serving as Associate Director in DAI Global UK. In this role, she provides strategic leadership and technical expertise to the Climate and Ocean Adaptation and Sustainable Transition (COAST) team. Dr. Kelling holds a PhD in sustainable and ethical aquaculture trade from the University of Stirling, UK, and her previous professional experience includes international NGOs, private companies and public governance organisations. She holds several executive leadership positions including co-Chair of the Global Sustainable Seafood Initiative, Forum Convener for the Sustainable Aquaculture Forum of the Marine Alliance for Science and Technology Scotland (MASTS), and co-Chair of the Women in Scottish Aquaculture (WiSA) Initiative. She is also an Associate Professor at the University of Heriot-Watt, Edinburgh, Scotland, where she leads a research team at the Lyell Centre challenging system inequities in seafood supply (www.fairfoodhub.org).
