Fisheries MCS Officer, Royal Thai Government Department of Fisheries

Nalinee is a Fisheries Officer at the Department of Fisheries, Thailand, working in international fisheries cooperation and the implementation of Port State Measures (PSMA) to combat illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing. Her work includes coordinating with flag States and international organizations, verifying vessel information, and supporting the implementation of international fisheries instruments.
She analyzes vessel routes and fishing vessel behavior using electronic monitoring systems to support risk assessment, compliance verification, and Monitoring, Control and Surveillance (MCS). She also facilitates fisheries information exchange through the Global Information Exchange System (GIES) to strengthen international cooperation.
She looks forward to expanding her knowledge, exchanging experiences with fellow participants, and exploring innovative approaches to enhance fisheries monitoring and international cooperation.
