DTI MIMAROPA Assistant Regional Director (ARD) Rodolfo “Rudy” J. Mariposque, CESO IV, holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Australian National University. He has been with the Department of Trade and Industry for over three decades and is key in revitalizing MIMAROPA’s micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) industry and consumer sector since then.
In his professional career, ARD Rudy steered the eCommerce and digital economy in the MIMAROPA Region. Seeing technology as a catalyst to address vulnerable environmental, economic, and social conditions, he is active in partnering with international organizations for project grants for MSMEs in the region. He believes that trade and technology must be in sync for the promotion of a robust supply chain network by creating a systematic structure for multiple supply chains.
Lastly, he also champions strategic initiatives focused on providing sustainable relief to affected coastal communities in MIMAROPA and mainstreaming ESG practices among MSMEs.
