Trina Apaya is an Environment and Social Consultant at Arup, specializing in biodiversity, natural capital accounting, environmental planning, and sustainability. She has worked on a wide range of projects across the Philippines and internationally, supporting public and private sector clients in integrating environmental and social considerations into development planning, investment decisions, and project delivery.
Drawing on her background in environmental management, environmental economics, and regional planning, Trina has contributed to environmental and social impact assessments, biodiversity studies, ecosystem valuation, carrying capacity assessments, and the development of environmental policies and guidance. Her work spans diverse sectors and ecosystems, requiring close collaboration with government agencies, local stakeholders, technical specialists, and project proponents.
