Laetitia Paugam is Strategic Business Development Manager for Fisheries at SINAY, a marine-environmental technology company with over 17 years supporting sustainable fisheries. She works with Fishers, research institutes, NGOs and national authorities to deploy technologies that monitor catches and discards, and record rare-event bycatch. SINAY acts as a coordinator for end-to-end electronic monitoring programs, helping partners build their own fully documented fisheries program or just a basic monitoring set-up. Each program is tailored to their most sensitive bycatch, or simply to monitor their catch, for better management of local marine resources. At SAFET 2026 in Cebu, Laetitia is delighted to discuss about some of the latest developments in REM to the global conversation on responsible fisheries.
